Baptist Health is hiring a Vice President of Patient Care Services to join the leadership team at Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida! This is a full-time, on-site executive leadership position located on the downtown Jacksonville campus of Baptist Health.
The VP, Patient Care Services for Wolfson Children’s Hospital (WCH) will ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and compassionate care is delivered to Baptist Health patients and families. As a key member of the executive leadership team, this position will oversee all nursing and clinical operations across the hospital, guiding delivery of patient-centered care while advancing Baptist’s mission of hope, healing, and well-being for all.
The VP, Patient Care Services job responsibilities:
- Ensuring quality, safety, and patient-center care across all nursing and clinical operations within Wolfson Children’s Hospital
- Overseeing nursing management, nursing staff performance, and all related budget and resource planning
- Serving as a key liaison between health system administration, hospital leadership, providers, and clinical teams
- Leading operational, strategic, and organizational initiatives to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and patient outcomes
- Establishing patient care standards and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accrediting requirements
- Creating and maintain systems and processes that ensure accountability for operational, clinical, financial, and quality benchmarks
- Building strong relationships with internal and external partners
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives while fostering an environment of excellence, collaboration, and innovation
