The Department of Neurological Sciences at the Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine (LCOM) in alliance with University of Vermont (UVM) Health seeks to recruit a physician to join our evolving programs in Neuro-oncology and General-Comprehensive Neurology.
This is a full-time position at 1.0 FTE with a corresponding faculty appointment in the Department of Neurological Sciences at LCOM. Clinical responsibilities are anticipated to be approx. 80% neuro-oncology and 20% general neurology. Accordingly, applicants must be Neurology Board eligible/certified with fellowship training in neuro-oncology.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join the University of Vermont Cancer Center, a collaborative group of physicians, scientists, caregivers, and staff dedicated to advancing prevention, detection, treatment, and survivorship of cancer. The Neuro-Oncology Transdisciplinary Team is the newest division of the Cancer Service Line at UVM Health offering comprehensive, multi-disciplinary neuro-oncologic care including clinical expertise in neurology, neuro-oncology, radiation oncology, neurosurgery, neuro-pathology, and neuro-radiology; participation in local, regional and national clinical trials; collaborative transdisciplinary research; and medical student, resident and fellow education.
