ASSOCIATE DEAN FOR ACADEMIC AFFAIRS
Reporting directly to the Dean of the School of Medicine, the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs shall be a clinician and full-time faculty member with a record of achievement as an educator and administrator. The incumbent should also demonstrate exceptional interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. The incumbent should have a deep understanding of the needs and challenges related to all aspects of residency training. This includes oversight of resident recruitment and the match, resident orientation, resident assignment and tracking of residency caps, accreditation, and educational outcomes. The incumbent will also oversee Continuing Medical Education and will work with the Office of Undergraduate Medical Education to ensure that the medical school curriculum is effecti
