The Cardiac Anesthesiologist has responsibility for providing the complete range of anesthetic care of patients including preoperative assessment, intraoperative anesthetic administration and monitoring during procedural episodes of care requiring both general anesthesiology expertise and subspecialty expertise in cardiac anesthesiology, and post-anesthesia care, in compliance with national (TJC) accreditation standards.
