American Endovascular is seeking a full time Registered Vascular Technicians. Focused on treatment of Peripheral Arterial disease, the RVT plays a keep role in the diagnosis and development of treatment plans for patients coming to us for consult and follow up visits. Will work closely with providers to report results and discuss exams needed. Primary exams performed will be lower extremity arterial duplex and Venous insufficiency studies. May be requested to go to Nursing Homes to perform scan on residents who are not able to come to office for office visits
- Hours are Monday- Friday no weekends or holidays.

Responsibility includes
- Performing scans as ordered by providers
- Writing reports and uploading in our EMR system
- Communicating with team as to results of exam so can be reviewed with patient
- Assisting with bringing patients into consult rooms
- Uploading images to PACS
Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited 2-year allied health program and two years of post-graduate experience or graduate of an accredited vascular ultrasound program, with the equivalent vascular experience and active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
Must have solid knowledge base of anatomy, physiology, hemodynamics, and pathology and how it relates to non-invasive vascular testing. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred qualifications include a minimum of two years' experience post internship performing vascular ultrasounds however, new grads with strong skills will be considered. Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
