Palo Alto Chief of Endocrinology  This is a 1.0 VA position, which includes a mix of clinical care, teaching, research (optional) and administration. The incumbent will supervise other staff in the Endocrine Section. The individual will be an integral part of the Endocrine Section's scholarly and academic programs. This position includes direct patient care and teaching activities in the Endocrine Section. The incumbent will be responsible for assessment and care of new and returning patients, ordering diagnostics, consultations, medications, and other therapies as medically indicated while completing all required VA computer documentation including clinical reminders and screenings. The incumbent will be primarily located at VA Palo Alto Health Care System
