The University of California, Irvine (UCI), Division of Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology, Department of Family Medicine, is seeking a national leader for a full-time in-line faculty position to become the Director of Geriatric Research. The successful candidate will be expected to have significant experience and accomplishments in research, publications and grants. The successful candidate will be expected to have a distinguished record of extramural-funded basic, translational, epidemiological or clinical research program at a high level of accomplishment driving transformational cross-disciplinary high-impact innovation. The candidate will be expected to partner with faculty within and outside of the Division and to spearhead multi-disciplinary collaborations with other departments
