Responsible for the oversight of the accounting and financial reporting function for grants, research projects, and the foundation as well as accounting personnel.
In conjunction with the Manager General Accounting & Reporting, responsible for all general ledger activity and financial reporting for PCH and subsidiaries.
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance or related field (Required)
Masters degree in Accounting or Business (Preferred)
Ten (10) years of experience in Accounting or Finance. (Required)
Three (3) years of experience in a Foundation or Research related financial supervisory role. (Required)
Five (5) years of experience in a complex healthcare organization. (Preferred)
CPA or Certified Management Accountant designation (Preferred)
Demonstrated ability to communicate financial information that is frequently complex or difficult to understand to an audience that understand the technical, but not financial, role of research or grant work. (Required)
Strong MS Excel skills (Required)
Experience working with large ERP system preferably Infor/Lawson (Required)
Experience working with fund accounting software such as Blackbaud (Preferred)
