NNP Opportunity â“ Help Build a Brand-New NICU in Central Florida

Pediatrix® Medical Group is seeking an NNP to join our nationally recognized neonatology team at Orlando Health South Lake Hospital in Clermont, FL. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

About Orlando Health South Lake Hospital

• Founded in 1947, South Lake Hospital is committed to serving the community and promoting healthy lifestyles.

The NICU & Practice Opportunity

This brand new Level II NICU is designed for growth and supported by an established regional network.

• Projected NICU average daily census of 5â“6 by year-end
• Newborn nursery ADC of 6â“7
• ~2,000 annual deliveries
• Support from Pediatrixâ™s flagship Level IV NICU at Winnie Palmer Hospital (142 beds)
• A collaborative care model with Neonatologists, Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs), and Pediatric Hospitalists
• On-call response time: within 30 minutes
• Neonatologist schedule: 10-13 shifts (24-hour) per month
• NNP staffing: 24-hour shifts, providing balanced coverage and continuity, full-time and part-time available
