The Instructor will be responsible for using a combination of molecular and cellular biological approaches and animal model studies to discover new therapeutic targets for neurodegenerative diseases and facilitating ongoing studies of translational neurobiology in Dr. Lian Lis laboratory. Duties include designing, developing and conducting molecular/cellular biological experiments, and studying neurodegeneration in animal models, and identify and valid new targets for treating neurodegenerative diseases. The Instructor is expected to have advanced knowledge and expertise in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, and mouse genetics and to make substantial contributions to the publication of the results.
