IU Health Medical Group in the East Region is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant to join our experienced Hematology Oncology team. This position is located in Muncie Indiana.
Position Details:
- PRN
- No Call Schedule
- 90% Outpatient
- 10% Inpatient
- Team: 7 physicians, 5 Advanced Practice Providers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Follow providers plan of care
- Assess patients
- Offer recommendations according to scope and provider direction
- Candidate must have great communication skills, patience and compassion
Patient Population:
- Patients with blood disorders or cancer
Qualifications:
- ACNP, FNP, or PA REQUIRED
- Must have at least 1 year of oncology experience, and/ or possible critical care experience
- Must have APP experience
- Ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience as an APP caring for Oncology and benign Hematology patients
