IU Health and the Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology, Blood & Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Program seeks two physician to join our team! The candidate should have an outstanding record of accomplishment in clinical care, teaching, and a focused area of research activity in allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation. The candidate will be considered across broad areas of expertise, including clinical trials and/or translational research; an interest in graft engineering and novel preclinical and/or clinical trial approaches to transplantation is of special consideration.
- Academic practice with focus on clinical care, research and education
- Academic Rank at the Assistant/Associate level
- Practice comprised of hematology/oncology subspecialists focusing on 13 disease-focused programs.
- Procedures include Bone marrow biopsies, harvest, stem cell and bone marrow transplantation, immune effector cell infusion

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosis, evaluation and management of patients with hematologic malignancies, nonmalignant blood disorders and select solid tumors, managed by cellular therapy required. Administration and oversight of chemotherapy, biotherapy, and immunotherapy. Selection of appropriate candidates for cellular based therapy. Preparation, treatment, and management of patients through autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplantation. Participating in CAR T-cell and immune effector cell therapies.
- Teaching residents, fellows and medical students.
- Participation in quality improvement initiatives
Minimum job requirements
- BE/BC in Hematology/Oncology
- Obtain IN license
- MD, DO or equivalent education
