Joe DiMaggio Children?s Hospital is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our growing Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in a full-time capacity. Candidates must have completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. We welcome both experienced physicians and recent graduates.

This newly created position supports the continued expansion of the division, including the future development of a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship program. The role is designed as a hybrid position, incorporating both outpatient care and hospital-based responsibilities, including inpatient coverage and consultative services.The ideal candidate will be highly flexible and clinically versatile, with a willingness to support patient care across both outpatient and hospital settings as needed.

Key responsibilities include:

?Providing outpatient psychiatric care

?Performing inpatient consults for pediatric medical subspecialties

?Participating in hospital-based coverage as needed

?Collaborating with multidisciplinary care teams

The outpatient program serves a diverse pediatric population with a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including internalizing disorders, comorbidities, medically complex cases, and eating disorders. The physician will also provide consultative support across pediatric specialty programs. Emergency Department psychiatric evaluations are primarily managed by LCSWs, with psychiatrist involvement as needed.

You will join a collaborative team of child and adolescent psychiatrists and report to the Division?s Medical Director. This position includes an academic appointment, with opportunities to participate in resident education and contribute to the development of a future fellowship program. Research opportunities are available and encouraged.This is a full-time employed position with Memorial Physician Group. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice coverage is provided under sovereign immunity.

JDCH’s Orthopedic and Sports Medicine program is also ranked by US News and World Report as number one in Florida and is one of the largest programs in the southeastern United States. JDCH also has robust Neurosciences, Hematology/Oncology and other specialized surgical programs (approximately 10,000 surgeries per year), and the area’s largest pediatric and neonatal transport team, which also does mobile ECMO. JDCH serves over 375,000 children per year from around the state. Approximately 100,000 children are cared for in our three emergency rooms across the county per year.
